SEOUL, June 27 (Yonhap) — Lee Joo-no, a member of the 90s’ iconic idol group ‘Seo Tai-ji & Boys,’ has been booked on sex assault charges, police said Monday.
The 48-year-old, whose original name is Lee Sang-woo, is suspected of sexually abusing two women in their 20s at a night club in Itaewon, a foreign neighborhood in Seoul, in early hours of Saturday.
The victims stated that the man, who was drunk, hugged them from behind and touched their breasts against their will.
Police said they are currently analyzing CCTV footage of the assault and will call in Lee for questioning on the case.
