Magician Shin Lim wows Penn and Teller
July 17, 2015
Shin Lim was an aspiring concert pianist until he was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands.
One would think he would choose a new career that wouldn’t require as much dexterity or hand eye coordination, but he stuck with those strengths and decided to go into magic performance.
Music and rhtyhm act as crucial elements in Lim’s act and it certainly was enough to wow American illusionists Penn and Teller on their own show in which they invite performers to put their skills on display.
“We didn’t even know how you vanished the motherf****** marker,” said Penn Jillette.
Penn and Teller are established magicians in their own right so a statement like the one above was flattering to say the least.
