MBLAQ Seungho assaulted by former agency director
K-pop boy band MBLAQ leader Seungho, 28, was reportedly assaulted by a former agency employee Friday, according to local media.
According to Gangnam police, Seungho was having a drink with a former J. Tune Camp director, identified only as A, when he was assaulted around 3 a.m.
Police said Seungho called them saying he was hit in the head with glass but later told them he was slapped in the face.
A told police he hit Seungho because the idol singer was being arrogant.
“Seungho does not want A to be charged,” it said. J. Tune Camp said A quit the agency two years ago.
The singer posted a message on the band’s official fan page Friday.
“I am not hurt, and although this is not a good situation, I’m finding strength thanks to everyone’s concern,” he said.
