Most-viewed K-pop music videos of 2015 (so far)
Bang, bang, bang! …is what K-pop fans were singing this year, as far as the numbers are concerned.
Big Bang, which came back in May after a three-year hiatus, dominates this list by taking up half of the Top 10. The only music videos released by the band that didn’t make it to the top, “We Like 2 Party” and “Zutter,” still ring in at No. 12 and 21, respectably, as of Monday.
Other big names that drew the replay button on YouTube include Girls’ Generation, which returned as an octet this summer, second-million album sellers EXO and BTS, who have been on a quick rise in the past year.
Taeyeon, from Girls’ Generation, Park Jin-young and Hyuna, from 4Minute, were the only solo acts to make the list.
As for rookies, it was Red Velvet’s year to shine — the five-member girl group had everyone on board the “Ice Cream Cake” train.
