July 28, 2015
By The Korea Times New York staff
The New Jersey Korean Veterans War Memorial unveiled its completed form Monday 14 years after its initial installation, in time for the 62nd anniversary of the Korean armistice agreement.
Located in Jersey City, the memorial was erected in 2001 but failed to have an image inscribed into the stone surrounding it until help came from the city of Uijeongbu in South Korea.
Present at the second opening ceremony were City Councilman Yoon Yeo-tae and members from Korean War veterans associations from Hudson County.
