NYC Korean non-profit to open mental health clinic

The first mental health clinic by a Korean American non-profit in New York City will open Nov. 2 in Flushing.
Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York said the project has been underway for two years, with considerations being put on a special need for language and cultural support provided.
The clinic, located on 42-16 162nd Street, is authorized to treat patients over age 13 and will offer services including personal, couples, family and group therapy, art therapy and alcohol and drug counseling.
