Concept Korea Womenswear S/S 2016 will open Monday inside Manhattan’s Skylight at Moynihan Station.
The collection, presented this year by South Korean designers KAAL.E.SUKTAE (Lee Suk-tae) and jarret (Lee Ji-yeon), is the latest from the project since its launch in 2010.
Concept Korea is organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and by the Korea Creative Content Agency.
Lee Suk-tae launched his brand in 1997 after studying fashion in Paris. Lee Ji-yeon launched jarret in 2009 and a second brand, HONEY JARRET, in 2011.
Concept Korea seeks to highlight Korean designers during New York Fashion Week.
