Oakland A’s to hold Korean Heritage Night in June
May 14, 2015
By Brian Han
The Oakland Athletics organization will be holding its first Korean Heritage Night on Tuesday, June 9.
The east bay ball club doesn’t have any Korean players on its roster, but that won’t stop them from celebrating one of the fastest spreading cultures of the 21st century.
The A’s will be playing against the Texas Rangers meaning there’s a good chance that there will be at least one Korean player on the field — outfielder Choo Shin-soo.
Those who are attending will receive an exclusive A’s Korean Heritage Night hat featuring a patch of the nation’s flag.
The stadium will also offer a “traditional food item.”
