OC art center to show off 29 local Korean artists’ work
A group of amateur Orange County artists will display their works at Village Art Center in Fullerton from Dec. 5 to 12 in an exhibition by the local non-profit Korean American community fine arts association.
Twenty-nine association members prepared artwork under the theme “coexistence” all year, organizers said.
“I’ve had the chance to realize what a joy it is to be able to help everyday people realize dreams through painting,” said Kim Bae-geun, association president. “It’s a wonder to witness Koreans picking up late passions in art and seeing their transformations.”
Kim said a handful of members are also planning individual exhibits.
The association was founded five years ago and has put on an end-of-the-year member exhibition every year.
Reception for the exhibit will begin at 4 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Call 714-525-5897 for more information on the exhibit or the association.
