Top Chef alum Beverly Kim and her husband to open new restaurant Parachute
“Top Chef” alum Beverly Kim and her husband, Chef John Clark, are opening a new restaurant next month in Chicago.
Parachute will be a tapas-style restaurant with 40 seats where customers can enjoy Korean-inspired cuisine that includes kimchi, seafood pancakes and black garlic.
Kim garnered attention for her spicy stir-fried small octopus dish on “Top Chef: Texas,” which aired in 2011.
She has formerly cooked at Charlie Trotter’s, Prairie Grass Cafe, Aria and the Michelin-starred Bonsoiree. Parachute will be located at 3500 N. Elston, Chicago, IL.
