Park to visit DC, meet with Obama in mid-June
May 12, 2015
South Korean President Park Geun-hye is likely to meet with President Obama in a visit to Washington, D.C., in mid-June, according to Korean media.
Sources say the visit is in the process of being coordinated.
The meeting will be Park’s third with Obama in the U.S., and is expected to focus on talks concerning North Korea’s nuclear weapons and ties between South Korea and the U.S.
Ahead of her visit, she will meet with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who will travel to South Korea next week following a stop in China.
