South Korean golfer Park Sung-joon shot a bogey-free 7-under 65 on the PGA West Palmer course in the final round of the Humana Challenge Sunday.
The performance was good enough to secure a tied-for-second place finish.
The 28-year-old made a strong showing in his fifth career appearance on the PGA Tour securing $342,000 — the most he’s made as a professional in a single event.
Bill Haas ended up winning the tournament by one stroke after finding trouble on the final hole.
“It felt like a train wreck all coming together,” Haas told the press.
His ball got caught right above the lip of a bunker after his tee shot.
After a careful punch out to the fairway he was able reach the par-5 in three and two-putt to win his first event since the 2013 AT&T National.
