Pirates’ Kang enjoys first 3-hit game in majors
(Yonhap) — South Korean infielder Kang Jung-ho of the Pittsburgh Pirates enjoyed his first three-hit game in his Major League Baseball (MLB) career Wednesday. He got on base four times and even stole a base for the first time.
Kang made his first start of the week, playing third base and batting seventh against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. He went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a walk, and also stole his first major league bag. The Pirates defeated the Cubs 8-1.
He’s now batting .269 for the season.
Facing Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks, Kang drew a walk his first time up in the second. Then with the Pirates down 1-0 with two outs in the fourth, Kang singled in a tying run off Hendricks.
Kang struck out swinging against Gonzalez German in the sixth, but then got a single off Edwin Jackson leading off the seventh.
With Chris Stewart at the plate, Kang took off for second as second baseman Jonathan Herrera couldn’t hold on to the throw that bounced in the dirt.
Facing Coke in the ninth, Kang hit a towering double off the right-center field wall to drive in Pedro Alvarez from second.

I liked the “tower defense” aspects of building settlements to see how well they would hold up to attacks. Plus running wires and lighting to them up. Besides that I didn’t do much, except provide enough food and water resources and sheltered beds. I created a couple walled communities, but stopped there.
