Power star couple Lee Seung-gi and Yoona separate
It’s the end of another power star couple: Lee Seung-gi, 28, and Girls’ Generation member Yoona, 25, have parted ways after 22 months, local media reported.
Both stars’ agencies confirmed the break-up Thursday.
Hook Entertainment, Lee’s agency, said the pair likely became too busy with their individual schedules.
“It’s a personal matter, so we don’t plan on asking Lee Seung-ki a blow-by-blow account of why they broke up,” Hook said.
Lee and Yoona were first spotted together last year on New Year’s Day by a paparazzi outlet.
Lee is currently preparing his next full-length album and has signed on to star in a show cable show, while Yoona is filming a Chinese television drama and carrying out promotional activities with Girls’ Generation for their new album.
