Pro-golfer Park to tie knot soon
March 11, 2014
Pro-golfer Park In-bee is getting married.
After winning a Ladies European Tour tournament in Hainan, China, Sunday, Park said she will tie the knot with her swing coach Nam Ki-hyup before the 2014 season comes to an end. The two were engaged in 2011.
“I wanted to have the wedding after the 2014 season ended, but I decided it would be too cold for the guests by then,” she said. Park intends to be married on a golf course in Korea. “I’ve always dreamt of getting married on a golf course.”
She will then leave for the Maldives on her honeymoon.
Park shot a 6-under 67 in the Mission Hills final round to finish with a 24-under 286 to beat No. 2-seeded Suzann Pettersen of Norway by five shots.
