Psy, Rain, Winner to attend Chinese music awards show

SEOUL, July 28 (Yonhap) — South Korean pop singers Psy and Rain, as well as the boy band WINNER, will attend a Chinese music awards ceremony, music industry sources said Thursday.
They will walk down the red carpet and perform during the MTV Asia Music Gala 2016 set to open at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in Shenzhen, southern China, at 7 p.m. Thursday, the sources said.
The event is co-hosted by Tencent Video (v.qq.com), a major online video platform and MTV.
Rain will present remixed versions of his songs “30sexy,” “lasong” and “touch ya,” according to his talent agency, Rain Company.
Among the Chinese top stars to be featured in the ceremony are Li Yuchun, Wei Chen, Fang Datong and Zhang Jie.
