Psy to hold concert on Christmas
By Chung Hyun-chae
Have you heard from Psy lately?
World star Psy on Monday commented about his mounting stress on Twitter on Oct. 28, while notifying followers of his upcoming concert on Dec. 25, Christmas Day.
“Each of you as a member of society worked hard this year struggling to keep your social status. I also had a hard time. It has been a year since I made an unintentional overseas presence last year. In the process of giving my utmost effort, I have gained more proficiency in English as well as more stress,” Psy wrote on his account, recollecting the past one year.
“I used to perform 15 songs on one stage. During the past year, however, I only repeated ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’ on every stage over and over again,” Psy added.
“Gymnastics in the moonlight,” the title of his concert, is a Korean phrase used to refer to a useless effort, according to Psy. “Let’s do a gymnastic in the moonlight of Christmas night, and knock ourselves out!” he said.
Tickets for “Gymnastics in the moonlight,” are available through InterPark from Wednesday noon.
