Ryu Hyun-jin’s old team puts robot fans in the stands

It’s either a brilliant business idea for the future, or the creepiest thing you’ll ever see in a baseball stadium.
Ryu Hyun-jin’s old team in Korea, the Hanwha Eagles have introduced robot fans they call ‘Fan-bots’ in their ballpark last week.
Through your smartphone you will be able to cheer, chant, hold up electronic message boards and even do waves.
Some think in the future teams may be able to charge fees as fans can even upload their picture onto a robot’s face screen and control its action through the Internet.
