S. California readies for sweater weather after hot autumn
December 8, 2015
By Brian Han
Only in Southern California will you find residents turning on air conditioners in December.
It’s true that 2015 provided cities like Los Angeles some of the hottest autumn months on record according to the National Weather Service, but it’s time to say goodbye to the heat.
Though it may be in the mid-80s in Southern California now, beginning on Thursday, temperatures will dip down to the 60s. Things should remain that way heading into the weekend according to Accuweather.
A cold jet stream is making its way from the northwest and should swoop through the area.
For Angelenos, it’s time to break out those sweaters.
