S. Korea, China score at short-track World Cup

SHANGHAI (AP) — South Korea’s Sin Da-woon and China’s Fan Kexin won races Saturday at the ISU short-track speedskating World Cup.
Sin was timed in the men’s 1,500 meters in 2 minutes, 16.943 seconds and was followed by Charles Hamelin of Canada in 2:17.041 and John-Henry Krueger of the U.S. in 2:17.169.
In the women’s 500, Fan won in 43.272 seconds. Canada’s Marianne St-Gelais took the silver in 43.361 and South Korea’s Kim Alang the bronze in 43.458.
