The latest South Korean film to hit North American theaters is “The Advocate: A Missing Body,” coming Oct. 23.
The crime comedy stars Lee Sun-kyun, a top actor known for his humorous turns in television dramas like “Pasta,” as a rollicking lawyer whose newest case involves a murder with no body.
According to distributor CJ E&M, the film will premiere in cities including Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.
The film opened in South Korea last Thursday and also stars Kim Go-eun and Im Won-hee.
