SEJONG (Yonhap) — South Korea’s unemployment rate remained unchanged from a month earlier in October, but the pace of job creation slowed to a four-month low, a government report showed Wednesday.
The country’s unemployment rate stood at 3.2 percent last month, according to the report from the Statistics Korea.
The number of employed people came to 25.95 million in October, up 406,000 from the same month last year. This is the slowest on-year job growth rate since June when 398,000 jobs were added to the economy.
