Samsung enters niche market with $30,000 ‘Dream Doghouse’
March 5, 2015
Samsung Electronics unveiled an unexpected new product at Crufts Exhibition in England Thursday aimed at pet owners who love to pamper their dogs.
The $30,000 “Dream Doghouse” provides amenities that would make any human envious.
The product sports a modern exterior to its lounge area where pets can eat or even watch their favorite programs on a tablet as suggested by Samsung.
Next is the treadmill, which features a soft astroturf-covered belt so that your pet can stay active when the weather’s too cold.
There’s even a hydro-therapy pool where the dog can relax while taking a warm bath.
With American pet owners reportedly spending $58 billion on pets in the last year, $30,000 starts to sound like a drop in the bucket.
