SHINee’s Key to release solo debut single
October 30, 2018
SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) — Key, a member of K-pop boy band SHINee, will debut as a solo artist next month with his first solo release, his management agency said Tuesday.
The 27-year-old will drop “Forever Yours” on major local music stores Nov. 6, according to SM Entertainment. He will deliver a full-length solo album later in the month, it added.
His first solo release since his debut in 2008 as a member of SHINee is an R&B pop track with fresh tropical house vibes, designed to combine Key’s vocal sounds with his unique stage performance, SM said.
The solo career is the latest addition to Key’s entertainment portfolio, which includes acting in TV series and musical drama pieces as well as fashion design.
