Singer Lee Eun-mi releases new remake album
SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) — South Korean pop diva Lee Eun-mi released a new remake album on Friday, according to her agency Neobiz.
“Amor Fati” marks her third remake EP after her previous two albums released in 2000 and 2007.
Its title, which translates into English as “Love your fate,” was chosen by the artist as a reminder to be more grateful and endure the hardships of her destiny as a musician, because singing is what she loves.
“As time passes by, I’ve become certain that music is my destiny,” she said.
Themed along the lines of consolation, which the vocalist had described as one of the sources of the meaning in her work, the album’s track list consists of soothing songs including “Memory of The Wind” by Naul, “Lost Child” by Lena Park, “Fool” by Park Hyo-shin, and “Foolish Love” by JK Kim Dong-uk.
Debuted in 1989 as a guest singer of the legendary acoustic duo Shinchon Blues, Lee has received much love for her songs “I have a lover,” “Still breaking up,” and “Nocturne.”
Her national concert tour “The Live,” set to kick off on Friday, will have its rounds in 30 regions including Seoul, Busan, and Changwon.
