Singer Rain to make comeback on Jan. 15
SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Yonhap) — South Korean singer-actor Rain will return to the music scene next month with a new album featuring collaborations with other artists, his agency said Monday.
The 34-year-old star, who enjoys worldwide popularity, is set to release his first album in three years on Jan. 15, according to Rain Company, which unveiled a teaser poster on its website.
His sixth full-length album, “Rain Effect,” came out in January 2014.
“Rain has always staged top quality shows for every new album with unique concepts and brilliant performances,” an agency official said.
The artist has reportedly finished producing the new album, including a music video shot in top secrecy, but has continued to hold rehearsals for his comeback.
His next concert is scheduled for Dec. 30 in Singapore.
