Singer U-ie, actor Lee Sang-yoon dating
SEOUL (Yonhap) — Singer U-ie and actor Lee Sang-yoon are officially an item, their agencies said Tuesday.
U-ie, who is one-seventh of the girl group After School, and Lee have been dating since early 2016, and the two are still “getting to know each other,” PLEDIS, which manages the singer, said.
They have been hanging out in private since meeting at a gathering early this year, the actor’s agency, J,WIDE-COMPANY, said.
U-ie launched her acting career as the younger Misil in the period drama “Queen Seondeok” in 2009. She was most recently on the MBC weekend series “Marriage Contract,” in which she played a single mother struggling to pay off her deceased husband’s debts.
Lee debuted with a beer commercial in 2004, and has garnered attention as a physics student at the top-ranked Seoul National University. His big break was the KBS 2TV series “Seoyoung, My Daughter” in which he played the protagonist Seoyoung’s husband.
The two appeared together on the red carpet of the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong in December.
