Sistar’s Hyolyn set to drop new album
SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Yonhap) — Hyolyn of girl group Sistar will release a new album at the end of the day, her management agency said Monday, marking the artist’s solo return after a three-year hiatus.
The mini album, titled “It’s Me,” will be unveiled at 12 a.m. Tuesday, featuring six songs, including a title track “Paradise,” “Love Like This” and “One Step,” according to Starship Entertainment.
Well-known musicians, including American composer Melanie Joy Fontana and European composers Erik Lidbom and Andreas Oberg, took part in its production.
Hyolyn is the lead singer of the four-member group and has gained wide recognition for her powerful vocals. She recently featured on the new album of American hip-hop group Far East Movement and collaborated with three-time Academy Award-winning producer and disco legend Giorgio Moroder.
The diva made her solo debut in November 2013 with her first album “Love & Hate,” with its title track “One Way Love” sweeping music charts at home and abroad.
