Snoop Dogg goes Gangnam Style
Psy is filming his new music video in Korea with American hip-hop rapper Snoop Dogg.
According to YG Entertainment Wednesday, the two friends have been producing Psy’s next song together and will proceed to film their new music video in Incheon over two days.
“Snoop Dogg is in Korea for a new music video,” the agency said.
The global hip-hop star’s schedule in Korea remains a secret. On Jan.14, Psy revealed a photo with Snoop Dogg on his Twitter account, adding “My Snoop Dogg.” In the picture, both Psy and the rapper are standing side by side in a billiard hall holding their cues. They are both dressed in white shirts and plaid pants.
The new song is expected to be released in February or March. Snoop Dogg is well known for his work on Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic” released in 1992. He saw his debut album “Doggystyle” topping the Billboard 200 the following year.
Psy built his stardom worldwide thanks to the big hit “Gangnam Style” in 2012. To date, the video for “Gangnam Style” has received more than 1.8 billion hits on YouTube.
