Son Heung-min scored the decisive goal to put Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the driver’s seat to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Shortly before the break, Son neatly finished off the inside of the left post to score what turned out to be the game’s last and winning goal as Leverkusen defeated the Danish champions FC Copenhagen 3-2 in Denmark.
In other actions Tuesday, Arsenal (England) and Besiktas played to a scoreless draw in Turkey, and Athletic Bilbao (Spain) and Napoli tied 1-1 in Italy.
