Song Hye-kyo to attend Song Joong-ki’s fan meeting

SEOUL, (Yonhap) — The two stars from the South Korean runway hit TV series “Descendants of the Sun” will reunite at one of their fan meetings in China, sources in the South Korean entertainment industry said Wednesday.
Actress Song Hye-kyo will appear as a special guest at actor Song Joong-ki’s fan meeting in Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan Province, on June 17, the sources said.
The KBS 2TV series tells the love story of doctor Kang Mo-yeon and Army Capt. Yoo Si-jin in the fictional war-torn country of Uruk.
Sichuan’s cultural agency posted an official document permitting the actress’s appearance in the event on its website on Monday.
Song Joong-ki, who is currently on an Asia tour, is scheduled to meet fans in Hong Kong next on Saturday.
