South Korea saw record 60 million travelers in 2014

The number of visitors traveling to and from South Korea surpassed 60 million last year, according to the Korean Ministry of Justice Monday.
In 2014, the total number of travelers in and out of Korea was 61,652,158, a new record and up 12.2 percent from 2013.
Of those 61 million, foreigners constituted 12.6 million. Chinese travelers topped the list at 5.66 million travelers, followed by Japanese (2.25 million), American (800,000) and Taiwan (670,000).
According to the ministry, tourism drives 82.7 percent of travel into and from Korea.
