Soyou of Sistar to release new album next month
SEOUL, Sept. 20 (Yonhap) — Soyou from the disbanded girl group Sistar will release her second solo album early next month, a collection of dance music produced in collaboration with famous producers, her management agency said Thursday.
The upcoming album, set for release Oct. 4, is a follow-up on her first solo album titled “PART.1 RE:BORN,” released in December last year.
After Sistar broke up last year, Soyou launcher her solo career, releasing the first album of tender and mellow ballads.
In the upcoming album, Soyou will come up with dance songs with an active stage performance, Starship Entertainment said. Famous producers like Groovyroom, rapper Sik-K, pianist Kim Kwang-min and DAVII participated in the album’s production.
