Super Junior Kangin, 10cm Kwon Jung-yeol face trouble for failure to attend military training
Super Junior member Kangin and 10cm’s Kwon Jung-yeol are in trouble with the law for failing to participate in reserve forces training for the South Korean military.
According to Yonhap, Kangin received three notices to attend a six-hour training session by last month but did not respond. His case has been handed over to the prosecutor’s office.
SM Entertainment, his agency, said the incident occurred as a result of personal issues and his schedule.
“We’ll make sure something like this never happens again,” SM said.
Kwon’s representatives said the singer had moved twice and has been busy preparing for an album, and that it was not intentional, local media reported.
Kwon reportedly received another notice for May and said through his representative that he will participate.
