Seoul police to honor Sweet Sorrow’s In Ho-jin and his manager
Seoul police will present a certificate of appreciation to Sweet Sorrow’s In Ho-jin and his manager after they chased down a drunk hit-and-run driver earlier this month.
The singer, his manager Kim Sung-hyun and agency head Kim In-ho will be honored Friday, Yonhap reported.
In will also be appointed a promoting ambassador of the Seocho police station.
In and Kim caught a man identified only as Kwon, 28, after seeing him hit a couple in their 50s with his vehicle and run. Kim, in the driver’s seat, chased Kwon’s car, blocked it at a red light and dragged him out of the vehicle. In called police.
They were on their way back from a recording of MBC’s “I Am A Singer 3″ and ready to go to a recording studio for a film soundtrack.
According to police, Kwon had a blood alcohol content of 0.166 percent.
“Despite their busy schedule, they chased down the drunk hit-and-run driver and helped police with the investigation of the driver and the emergency treatment of the victims,” a police source said.
