The 30th LA Marathon coming March 15
February 27, 2015
The 30th LA Marathon is coming March 15.
The 26.2-mile run will begin at Dodger Stadium and run through Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills before ending at Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.
The annual event is expected to draw about 25,000 marathoners from 100 countries around the world, including 1,000 runners from Korean American organizations like Korean American Running Team.
Roads on the marathon route will be closed throughout the day as the race begins early morning.
KART fundraising leader Sunny Choi said the organization has participated under the “Run of Love” campaign, which supports community projects to help the needy.
