[THE SEATTLE TIMES] After 3 months in hospital, Korean American woman heads to jail on murder charge

[THE SEATTLE TIMES] — After spending nearly three months at Harborview Medical Center, a 55-year-old Central Kitsap County woman was booked into jail Wednesday night, accused of fatally stabbing her husband and then setting their house on fire Aug. 31, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
Chong Charpentier, who has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree arson, was booked into the Kitsap County Jail just after 6 p.m. Wednesday and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail, Deputy Sheriff Scott Wilson said in a news release. [READ MORE]
