Tom Cruise to promote film in Korea

SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) — Hollywood star Tom Cruise will visit South Korea next week to promote his new movie “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” the film’s local PR agency said Wednesday.

The actor will fly into the country on a private jet Monday morning and attend a press conference and a red carpet event in Seoul in the afternoon, according to Haneul Co.

This will be his eighth visit to South Korea, with the first one being for “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles” in 1994.

The movie “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” set to open in local theaters on Nov. 24, tells the story of Jack Reacher, a man with exceptional intelligence and sharp intuition, who strives to uncover the truth behind a government conspiracy and the assassination of his colleagues.
