TVXQ wax figures, first in K-pop, to see Seoul debut
June 12, 2015
TVXQ, the first K-pop idols to have wax figures made in their likeness, will see their wax counterparts displayed for the first time in South Korea this month, Yonhap reported.
According to Madame Tussauds Seoul Friday, figures of the duo will be installed inside Lotte World in Seoul Saturday.
After their first reveal last year in Hong Kong, the figures traveled to Beijing and Hong Kong.
Twenty wax figure experts worked three months on the duo, the estimated cost for each member being around 250 million won, or about $224,600.
Stars on display at Madame Tussauds Seoul through October 31 number 22 figures, including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Bruce Willis and Song Seung-hun.
