SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) — The music video for “Yes or Yes” by K-pop girl group TWICE has been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube, the group’s agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.
With the achievement, the group has produced 10 consecutive songs that have surpassed the 100 million-view mark.
The song, “Yes or Yes,” is the main track off the group’s sixth EP released on Nov. 5. The album ranked at the top of iTunes’ albums charts in 17 countries upon release.
On Wednesday, the nine-piece group released a special album titled “The Year of Yes” and started promotional activities.
It is scheduled to appear on the popular Japanese year-end music show “Music Station Super Live 2018″ on Dec. 21 and on Japanese national broadcaster NHK’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen,” the most popular year-end music program in the country, for the second year in a row on Dec. 31.
It will hold a Japanese dome tour next spring — performing at Osaka Kyocera Dome on March 21, Tokyo Dome from March 29-30 and Nagoya Dome on April 6.
