The Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association of New York (KSEANY) held the 21st annual Mathematics and Science Fair Awards on Dec. 15.
Alex Kim and Jeon Soo-bin, both juniors at Hunter College High School and Stuyvesant High School, respectively, were recipients of the prestigious New York City’s Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Science and Technology.
“It is a very difficult task to win these awards in both mathematics and science, which are probably the two most competitive subjects,” KSEANY chairman Stephen Suh.
