Two noted Korean novelists, Bae Soo-ah and Chun Myung-gwan, will visit UCLA Tuesday for a discussion on the globalization of literature inside Charles E. Young Research Library.
Bae (“Nowhere to be Found” and Chun (“Modern Family”) saw their novels translated from Korean to English recently.
A part of Literature Translation Institute of Korea’s effort to bring more Korean writers’ works overseas, the event is organized by the university’s Center for Korean Studies and by the library.
Translation will be provided at the free event.
