Universal CityWalk sets the stage for the Holidays with 200,000 sparkling lights
Christmas tree lighting ceremony joined by Santa Claus, Carson Daly and the top 10 Finalists from hit television series “The Voice” set for 8:30 p.m. Monday
Universal CityWalk celebrates the start of the festive holiday season with a spirited tree lighting ceremony by bringing to life a towering 40-foot Christmas tree, entwined with more than 200,000 brilliantly colored LED lights that will radiate throughout the destination.
To help Universal CityWalk ring in the holiday season, Carson Daly and the top 10 Finalists from the Emmy Award-winning television series, “The Voice,” will join Santa center stage to light the soaring Christmas tree, amid a flurry of sparkling confetti.
Immediately following the tree lighting ceremony, “The Voice” artists will host a free concert performance at “5 Towers.”
Throughout CityWalk’s holiday festivities, “5 Towers” will feature free concerts, and glimmer with hourly snowfall at Santa’s Snow Zone, where guests may take photos with Kris Kringle himself aboard his giant sleigh.
Event dates are Friday, November 28 to Thursday, December 25, 2014.
