Video: Jeremy Lin explains how to fit in the NBA
By Brian Han
The Charlotte Hornets newest addition Jeremy Lin knows what it’s like to be an outsider in the NBA.
Even after his incredulous 2012 season dubbed “Linsanity” in which he became the toast of New York, some of his new team’s staff had trouble recognizing him.
Just a few weeks ago, a security guard wouldn’t let him enter the team’s arena because she wasn’t sure if Lin was actually a player.
Went to the Hornets arena for 1st time and tried convincing security im a player. She said, “what team?!?” lollll #everywhereigo #literally

As the only Asian American on an active NBA roster, he’s probably learned quite a few things about fitting in over the course of his five-year professional career.
Lin released a video on Wednesday that shares all that wisdom into one convenient package.
