Viral ‘eagle dance church girl’ appears in JYP video
A video of a girl doing a head-banging, wing-flapping and thoroughly irrepressible dance at church is going viral all over again, after she was cast in a video by JYP Entertainment.
Lee Da-hyun, 16, gained fame last year when the video of her dance — to the song “The Power of Your Love” — was shared online. She became known as the “Eagle dance church sister” because the performance includes a vigorous flapping element.
The video began going viral this week after people realized that Lee was featured in a music video teaser produced by JYP Entertainment, released on Monday.
JYP released the full video for the song, “Stop Stop It” by boy group Got7, Tuesday.
Reportedly, Lee is a member of her church’s “Worship Power Dance” group at a prayer center in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
Lee’s famous wing-flapping move occurs when the lyric says, ”I’ll rise up like the eagle.”
