Wonder Girls to have first comeback in three years
June 24, 2015
Brace yourselves — Wonder Girls are coming back.
The group, once one of K-pop’s top acts, will make their first comeback in three years as a quartet comprised of Yeeun, Yoobin, Hyerim and Sunmi, JYP Entertainment announced Wednesday.
Wonder Girls will release a new album in August; they filmed their newest music video this week in Kyeonggi Province, the agency said.
After their 2007 debut, the girls dominated the genre with hits like “Nobody,” “Tell Me” and “So Hot.” In 2012, they went on hiatus following member Sunye’s marriage and member Sohee’s leave from the agency.
This comeback brings back Sunmi, one of the group’s original members who left in 2010.
