[THE WALL STREET JOURNAL] South Korea–land of high suicide rates, elderly poverty and hyper-stressed students. But just how unhappy are Koreans?
A new global survey offers some data on the subject, ranking South Koreans 75th out of 135 countries in well-being.
Over 85% of Koreans said that they were either struggling or suffering with their sense of purpose. 65% of Koreans said they were suffering with physical health. Only 17% felt they were thriving, below the global average of 24%. [READ MORE]
