English Premier League’s Liverpool F.C. is looking to sign Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen’s South Korean forward Son Heung-min according to his agent.

The 22-year-old has been with his current club since 2013 where he has recorded a respectable 41 goals in 131 league games.

Son is under a contract that lasts through 2018, but it seems Liverpool isn’t too concerned with that.

“I know that Liverpool have scouted him several times this season and would love to have the player in their squad,” Son’s agent Thies Bliemeister told Bild.

The specifics of his contract might hinder the transaction due to an annual release clause that only allows him to be available to other clubs during a specified period of time each year.

That time has passed meaning the player also known “Sonaldo” will be with Leverkusen throughout the upcoming summer.
