Jjawang coming to US next month
August 11, 2015
Jjawang, the new king of black bean noodles in South Korea, is headed to Korean specialty markets in the United States next month.
According to producer Nongshim America last week, the noodles have been approved for import.
Shipments will begin at the end of this month, and Jjawang is expected to become available on U.S. shelves as early as mid-September.
The thick, 3-millimeter-wide noodles have taken Korea’s noodle market by storm since its launch in April this year.
