South Korean singer-slash-actor Kim Hyun-joong is headed to his military service following the biggest scandal of his life.

According to local media, Kim, 28, will enlist March 31, making him one of several stars — JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong, Choi Jin-hyuk, Super Junior’s Sung-min — to say goodbye to public life for his mandatory two-year service.

Kim most recently made headlines after his girlfriend, who accused him of assault in more than one instance last year, was found to be pregnant with his child last month.

    Running away to the military! How convenient! There is still an innocent baby waiting to be born! Shameful parents bringing an innocent child into the world! So irresponsible. Why was no birth control precautions taken? So much money, but couldn’t afford to buy or practice birth control!

      Why so much anger Carolyn, it takes two to make a baby. You can’t blame him alone. Plus, he is not running away, it’s mandatory for a guy in Korea to serve two years in the military. If she is actually pregnant with his baby, it still better for him to miss the first year of his or her life then second or third year. If you are a parent, you know how painful it is not to be able to see your child grow up. I am pretty sure it’s painful for him too.

    Oh I will miss him. Although he is being a father and he has a girlfriend, I still love him and support him till the end. I’m so sorry for the people who are invading his private life and judging him wrong. We are not anyone to judge. Just we should support him and make him feel better. Maybe he has done somthing wrong,but he is a human and humans are not completely innocent and they can make mistakes.Miss Choi is not innocent either.She shouldn’t have published the news of her pregnancy like this!

    I’m already missing him, i wish him the best and at the same time, i really want him to make sure that Ms.Choi is really pregnant( for him or somebody else). You can not father a child that’s not yours,just because she planned this whole mess. Right from the beginning, i did not believe that lady and even now, i still did not believe her. All the interviews that she and her lawyer gave there are some discrepancies in how old the pregnancy is. First on the first day of the breaking news of her pregnancy, she said it’s 11 weeks old (February 24th), another interview given by her and her lawyer to Dispatch news outlets says ‘ She’s 16weeks (4 months). To me, that’s hidden agenda. She’s just trying to make him marry her and some people didn’t see that but rather they’re crucifying Kim hyun joong. What women on earth will go back to someone you accused of abused? That means she wasn’t even abused but rather she just couldn’t accept him leaving her. You can’t really forced love. He doesn’t have to get married to her just because she’s pregnant, which she’s lying about. She’s just going use that to make him marry her, then while he’s away in the military, then she will cry that she lost the pregnancy but already she’s trapped him with that. Msm choi or whatever your name is, i promise you that your scheme will be exposed. He will not marry you, because if he did, he will be miserable with a woman like you. I am praying for him a mnemonic d all his fans are too. Please stop destroying him. Please stop and tell the truth while you still have a little dignity left. I will find the truth about your pregnancy, i know you’re lying.

    Hyunjoong, i wish you success in your military and your life, but please do not marry this lady. She’s out to destroy you.

    This chick sounds like one of those psycho’s that guys try to leave and they trap the Guy with pregnancy. You don’t have to be married to raise a child. Be careful she said you hit her once, now she can get mad at you and say it again even if you didn’t do it. I have seen plenty of chicks do this crap to my Guy friends all the time. Psycho Choi lol…

    J-me slayton thank you. I have seen things like this been done to guys by some desperate women. It just doesn’t add up. February 24th she’s 11 weeks and by February 27th She’s 16 weeks ( 3 days her pregnancy jumped to 4 months) oh! Really! Common. I’m sure kim hyun joong”s parent understands and maybe that’s why they want her to do a paternity test. I really wish he will not marry her because of the pregnancy because he’s going to be miserable with that woman. She’s too desperate.
